Even Construction Needs Proper Management

In life every single things needs management and planning, from personal to corporate relations, from investment to reaping profit. That’s why they say “if you are not planning, it means you are planning to fail” things become easier with management. Why we all hear degree names like: Masters in business management (MBA) even they have specified courses for such fields like personal management. Yes! Sounds odd but even personality management is a field. Anyways, in a nutshell management is with everything and it’s all about making things better to proceed. Construction management is considered as an integral part especially in developing countries, whether it is the design and construction of roads, airports, houses industry or whatever. This kind of infrastructure is a must have for the development. In order to simplify things large scale construction activities are involved in many projects such as: Roads and railways which is called transportation infrastructure, power plants called energy sector, industrial construction like refineries. It is important to understand that every construction project is unique in nature due to local condition and availability of resources (resources include people, quality of material etc.), humongous amount of money, commitment, manpower, equipment; time and planning are involved to make this dream a reality. Definitely there are stakeholders too in construction management project (remind you we are discussing large construction projects so, visualize the large project), total there are six entities which are directly or indirectly involved in a construction project such as: clients (who owns the facility who doesn’t have the knowledge to design the project, but he/she has hired to complete the design and project), contractor is the agency which carries out the execution of the project, investors who are an important factor among the project (since the funds are not provided by the state usually) investors may include, banks and institutions etc. then comes the regulators (who are charged with the responsibility to check the design and construction are carried out according to proper guidelines and rules).
